Error Report dialog box

The Error Report dialog box, shown below, appears when Project Analyzer encounters a problem that causes it to crash. The Project Analyzer error reporting system, BugSplat, displays the dialog box in order to gather additional information that helps Newforma identify and resolve crashes.

The information sent is anonymous and technical in nature.

When the Error Report dialog box appears, it is highly recommended that you take the following steps:

1. Enter the last few steps taken in your work immediately before the Error Report dialog box appeared in the Please Describe the Events Just Before this Dialog Appeared field. This includes what tab and/or dialog box you were working in, what process you were trying to execute (i.e., save changes, export to a spreadsheet, import, etc.). Providing as much detail as possible helps diagnose the issue.
2. Enter your name and email address in the fields provided. While it is not necessary, it is highly recommended so that we can contact you about the issue and provide you with information about any resolutions.

Make sure the Send Error Report check-box is selected.

3. Click Exit Project Analyzer to send the error report and close the program.
