Load Task Template dialog box

The Load Task Template dialog box enables project mangers to import a list of existing tasks from another project or opportunity to the current project or opportunity. This saves a significant amount of time in having to manually recreate tasks that are commonly used within the company's projects.

How to access this dialog box

From the Tasks tab ribbon, click Load Task Template from the Load / Import section.

Data grid

Item	Description
Type	Indicates whether the effort type is a Project or an Opportunity. It can also be a template for the type.
Number	The project or opportunity number.
Items	The number of tasks included on the Tasks tab for the project, template or opportunity.
Name	The project, template or opportunity name.

Mark Existing Tasks for Deletion

When selected, any tasks on the Tasks tab for the current project will be marked for deletion on import. The project manager can then decide to keep or delete the tasks as needed.
