Newforma Project Center Tab
Use the Newforma Project Center tab in System Configuration to configure and maintain linking between Project Analyzer and Newforma Project Center projects.
You can create a custom activity center in Project Center to load a specific Project Analyzer project.
To access this tab
In Project Analyzer, click File and select System Configuration. On the System Configuration window, click the Newforma Project Center tab.
Suggest Links
Click this button to have the system automatically suggest which Project Analyzer projects and Project Center projects should be linked. For example, if the WBS1 value in both projects is the same, the system will suggest linking the two projects. Any new suggested project links are highlighted in blue.
Project Mappings Grid

| NPA Project ID | This field displays the Project ID for all available Project Analyzer projects. This field is read-only. |
| NPA Project Name | This field displays the Project Name for all available Project Analyzer projects. This field is read-only. |
| Newforma Project Center Project |
This field displays the Project Number for the selected Project Center project. Click in the field to select a Project Center project to link to the Project Analyzer project. Project Analyzer retrieves the list of Project Center projects from the Newforma Info Exchange server configured on the Newforma Project Center tab in the Newforma Project Analyzer Connection Manager. If you try to select a project that already has an active link to a Project Analyzer project, you receive a warning message. |
| Linked | When this check-box is selected, it indicates that the selected Project Analyzer and Project Center projects are linked. |
| Edit By |
The name of the user who last updated the project link. This field is read-only. If the system made a change automatically, System will be listed in the Edit By field. |
| Edit Date | The date the project link was last updated. This field is read-only. |
The following additional fields are also available. Click on the field chooser and select the check-box for the field to display it.
- Ignore NPA Project - When this check-box is selected, the Suggest Links function ignores the Project Analyzer project when looking for automatic links. In addition, the Launch Newforma Project Center button in the Home tab of the ribbon bar is disabled. You can group, filter and sort the contents of the Project Mappings grid as needed to make it easier to find the project information you need. Toolbar
Click Save Changes to save any newly mapped project links. Project Analyzer must be restarted for the changes to take effect. For more information on the options available in the toolbar, please refer to System Configuration: Toolbar.
