Create a Custom Filter

To create a custom filter for a column in the data grid:

  1. Click the icon in the column header for which you want to create a custom filter.
  2. From the Filtering popup, select Text Filters > Custom Filter to open the Custom Filter dialog box.
  3. Note: The Text Filters option may be replaced by Date Filters or Number Filters, depending on the data type of the selected column.

  4. In the Custom Filter dialog box, shown below, select whether you want to filter by All or Any of the filter conditions.
  5. Select the comparison operator for the filter from the Comparison Operator drop-down.
  6. Select the comparison value for the filter from the Comparison Value drop-down.
  7. Click Add to add a new filter row as needed.
  8. Click OK to save the custom filter.
