Ribbon Bar: Time Analysis Tab

The Time Analysis tab of the ribbon bar is only available when the main Time Analysis tab is active in Project Analyzer. It provides the user with tools for analyzing time spent on the current project.

Time Analysis

Show Expanded Detail

Opens the Show Expanded Detail - Timesheet Detail dialog box. It displays timesheet records for the current project including any comments made on timesheets. The information comes from the financial system and is read-only.

Show Hours

When selected, columns displaying the budgeted labor hours and actual hours logged per phase are added to the data grid.

Default state is not selected/off.

Show Dollars

When selected, columns displaying the budgeted labor cost and actual cost per phase in dollars are added to the data grid. If access to this option is restricted by permissions, the Show Dollars button will be off and disabled.

Default state is selected/on.

User access permissions are set on the System Configuration Security tab.

Show Unposted Hours

When selected, unposted timesheet hours (including those currently in progress) are added to the Actual values in the data grid.

Default state is not selected/off.

Compare to Baseline

By default, the Time Analysis tab uses the current plan values for comparison against actual values. Click Compare to Baseline to use the data from the Labor Budget tab Baseline for comparison instead.

To access this ribbon bar tab

Click the Time Analysis tab, then click the Time Analysis tab in the Project Analyzer ribbon bar.
