Team Assignment Conflicts dialog box

The Potential Conflicts column on the Team tab indicates when there are potential conflicts between the selected employee's current assignment and other overlapping project and opportunity assignments. Potential conflicts are identified when an employee is assigned to any other plan during the time frame identified on the current plan. Project managers can view details about the potential conflict from the Team Assignment Conflicts dialog box.

Unit Hours | Hours Per

Together, these two columns define the level of commitment required for the specific team assignment.

  • Detail. The Unit Hours displayed represent the effort required for the specific team assignment as defined in the Detailed Staffing dialog box.

  • Total Hours. The Unit Hours displayed represent the total effort required for the specific team assignment for the time frame defined on that line item. The hours are split equally over the time frame and will show as such in the staffing projections.

  • Per Day. The Unit Hours displayed represent the number of hours required per business day for the specific team assignment.

  • Per Week. The Unit Hours displayed represent the number of hours required per week for the specific team assignment.

This will be applied against the start and end dates to calculate total hours required.
