Create a Labor Budget Baseline

Perform the following steps to create a labor budget baseline on the Labor Budget tab.

If the baseline is empty, it is automatically created when you first save the labor budget.

To create a labor budget baseline

If you are not already there, click on the Labor Budget tab, shown below:

Set the Budget Status to an editable state, such as Open or Ready for Approval.

The baseline can be changed throughout the project, so long as the budget Status is not Approved.

Make the necessary changes to the labor budget in the Current Plan grid.

Click the Save Current View button on the ribbon bar Home or Labor Budget tab to save the changes.

Click the Save as Baseline button on the ribbon bar Labor Budget tab to capture the current view data as the new baseline data.
