Save a Management View Layout
Views are the primary reporting mechanism used in Project Analyzer. Management Views provide a series of reports that you can use and customize to keep track of your project financials.
To save a Management View layout
1. To begin, access the Management Views. Click the Home tab to access the Home ribbon, then click Management Views in the Reporting section of the ribbon bar.
2. Select one of the reports from the Available Views list.
3. Customize the view as desired.
Some options include:
Adding/removing columns
Rearranging column order
Grouping the output by any available column
Customizing the fonts.
You can also export the report for added convenience.
4. Once you have made the desired changes, enter a name for the layout in the Layout field, shown here:
5. Click Save to save the layout. When prompted, select whether you want to make the layout available to all users or if you only want it available to you. The layout is now available for the selected view.
Layouts are specific to individual management views. Only layouts that have been created for the selected view will be available when the view is selected.
