Newforma Project Analyzer is a project-based financial and resource management tool used by architectural and engineering (AE) firms. The tool is specifically designed with the needs of AE firm project managers and executives in mind.
Project Analyzer pulls read-only data from your financial system to facilitate what-if scenarios concerning project scopes, budgets, schedules and staffing. Using financial data captured in Deltek® Vision® ERP software, Information retrieved from Vision is made more valuable because that information becomes real-time, dynamic, interactive and is in a highly visual format that project managers and executives want to use.

Does Project Analyzer pull data from Deltek Vision Resource Planner?

Deltek Vision Resource Planner data can be imported into Newforma Project Analyzer. Data can be imported on a project by project basis. If multiple plans exist for a project, a selection list is provided to allow the user to choose which plan to be imported.

Can data edited in Deltek Vision be pulled into Project Analyzer for display?

Data is generally edited in Project Analyzer – schedule, team, detailed task list, project percent completes, budgets.

Only the accounting data is edited in Vision – invoices, timesheets, billing terms and project structure (project name, and phase names).

We are currently running Deltek version 5.x, will upgrading to 6.x later break Analyzer or require an upgrade to Analyzer for it to continue to work?

Upgrading to version 6.x from 5.x of Deltek Vision will not impact Analyzer as it will automatically detect the upgrade and adapt to the new version.
