Project is not in Project Analyzer

Newforma Project Analyzerr manages projects that were created in your Deltek® Vision® ERP software. If the product does not appear in Project Analyzer, consider the following:

● Check in the View menu to be sure filters are not preventing the display of the project you are looking for. Better yet, use the Filter box to find the project you want to work on.

● Confirm your view settings. On the System Configuration Security tab, check the View Projects option.

• The All Projects setting grants view access to the complete list of projects in Project Analyzer.

• The My Projects option will display only the projects where you are one of the following roles: Principal in Charge, Project Manager, or Supervisor.

My Projects is defined in your financial system. Your user account is included in My Projects when you are assigned as a Project Manager, Principal in Charge, or Supervisor in your financial system.

● If you still don’t see the project you are looking for, it probably has not been initiated yet in your finance and accounting system.

To request the project

Select the Request Project icon on the Home menu ribbon to send a new project request to your finance and accounting team. They will need to initiate the project in your finance and accounting system before you can proceed.

In some companies, project managers may have the ability to initiate a project in the finance and accounting system themselves.)

ANew Project Requestdialog box will open. Complete the information as appropriate for your project.

When complete, clickRequest Project Creation. A new email message will be generating, which contains the details you entered in theNew Project Requestdialog box.
