New and Improved Features in Newforma Project Analyzer 3.2
New Features
NPA Project Export
Project managers can now export data to a single Excel file that displays the data from every grid in Project Analyzer, including detailed assignments. Use the Export Project to Excel option, found in the Home tab of the ribbon bar.

Team Complete added to Net Revenue Projection
The Net Revenue Projection will now base future revenue on the remaining Team assignments (Team Complete). If no assignments are planned the projection will be based on Schedule Complete.
For example, a project that is 50% complete with all team assignments (Team Complete = 50%) with a planned fee of $100,000 will have a net revenue projection of $50,000.
Additional Fields that can be Renamed
The Principal, Project Manager, Supervisor, Efforts and RFQ Date fields can now be renamed.

Added Phase Start and End Dates to Tasks tab
The Tasks tab now includes the Phase Start and Phase End dates for the selected phase from the Schedule tab. This makes it easier for project managers to see if task assignments fall within the current date range of the phase.
Usability Enhancements
Time Analysis (Expanded Details)
The Show Expanded Detail - Timesheet Detail dialog box now displays the Phase and Discipline names instead of the financial system codes.
Net Revenue Projection
Summary totals are now available for all currency columns on the Net Revenue Projections tab, including the Remaining column.
Bug Tracking
Added the ability for users to add their name and a description of current activity for error reporting, enabling improved follow-up and resolution.

Staffing Projection
Resolved an issue where assignments were not being weighted for probabilities.
Online Help
Added significant detail to recently added features, tabs and financial projections based on user support questions and feedback.

New and Improved Features in Newforma Project Analyzer 3.1
Multi-Select within Filters
All columns that contain filters now include the ability to perform Excel-like multi-select of values:
This allows users to quickly select the items they wish to view, without the need to create a custom filter.

Schedule Change with Detailed Work Planning in Place
If detailed work planning has been entered on the Team tab and the dates for that phase change on the Schedule tab, the detailed work planning will not be lost if the duration of the phase has not changed. If the duration has been compressed, the overflow will be added to the last week of the assignment to indicate that an adjustment needs to be made to the staffing of that resource.
Cost Recalculation
When rates are updated, the Cost Recalc button in the Ribbon bar: Team Tab will update all future assignments and will highlight in blue until saved. Current assignments will be highlighted in yellow and a project manager may tab through the fields to adjust individual line items if desired.
Employee Supervisor and Default Role within Staffing Projections
Staffing Projections now contain columns for Supervisor, Role and Discipline. The Supervisor field refers to the supervisor listed in the employee record in Vision. The Role and Discipline fields refer to the default role as defined in System Configuration with the discipline related to that role. Sorting / Grouping / Filtering may be utilized with any or all of these fields as needed.
FTE or Hours on Team Projections
Team Projections now allow for the ability to toggle between FTEs (Full Time Equivalents) and Hours.
Start and Due Date on the Tasks Tab
The Tasks tab now includes both Start and Due Date columns. These may be utilized now and will be integrated with Action Items in a future release of Project Analyzer. The columns are also available for use in Management View creation.
Improvements to Existing Features
Schedule Date Changes now Sync on the Team Tab
When the dates change for a phase on the Schedule tab, the corresponding dates change on the Team tab automatically.
Management Views
Planned Labor Revenue and Planned Labor Revenue Detailed management views have now been incorporated into the general release.
New Opportunity Creation
In previous releases, if the setting for Edit Projects on the System Configuration Security tab was set to My Projects and the user created an Opportunity without indicating a project manager, the user could not edit the Opportunity. In Project Analyzer 3.1, any Opportunity a user creates will be listed as available to edit as the Opportunity will be considered to be in the "My Projects" group.
